Seeking to be a Christ-centered church guided by truth and marked by grace, Yates Thagard Baptist Church desires to fulfill its mission by:
 

• Teaching the believer to give to God by the entirety of his life the glory due His person.
• Encouraging believers to exercise spiritual gifts, to maintain the unity of the Spirit and to promote growth within the body of Christ.
• Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world by evangelism and church planting.
