The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the very Word of God, verbally inspired in it's entirety.  The scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed, and therefore constitute the sole, absolute and final authority for faith and practice.

(I Tim. 3:16;  II Peter 1:20-21)

The Godhead

We believe in one Triune god, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  (Deut. 6:4;  Matt. 28:19;  II Cor. 13:14;  Jn. 14:10,26)

The Person and Work of Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ without ceasing to be God became man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order to reveal God and redeem sinful men.  (Isa. 7:14; 9:6; Luke 1:35; Jn. 1:1-2, 14; II Cor. 5:19-21; Gal 4:4-5;

Phil. 2:5-8)

We believe in the Substitutionary death and shed blood on the cross for our complete redemption and justification and is made sure by His literal bodily resurrection from the dead. (Acts 2:21-36;  Rom. 3:24-25;  Rom. 5:6-11;  I Peter 2:24;  Eph. 1:7;  Rom. 4:25;  I Peter 1:3-5)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ having literally risen from the dead, is ascended to Heaven, and is exalted at the right hand of God where he is fulfilling the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.  (Acts 1:9-11;  Heb.9:24;  Eph. 1:7;  Rom. 4:25;  I John 2:1-2)

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit who convicts us of sin, regenerates, indwells, baptizes, seals and annoints all who become children of God through Christ.  He further empowers, guides, teaches, sanctifies, and fills believers.  (Jn. 3:5;  Rom. 8:9;  Eph. 1:17-18;  I Cor. 12:12-14)

Salvation

We believe in salvation by grace though faith and that it is only received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  (Eph. 2:8-9;  Jn. 1:12;  Romans 8:1;  John 3:3-7)
