We love children at Yates Thagard Baptist Church! Our biggest outreach event is Vacation Bible School (VBS) which is held each summer for our preschool children ages 3-5 and for elementary ages K-6th. VBS is five days of Bible lessons, singing, puppet shows, crafts, games and of course, cookies! Our desire is to reach the children in our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We end the week with a cookout for the entire family on Thursday night and a presentation in our Sunday evening service, including slideshows, songs and skits.
