Praise for Ministry Opportunity

What a joy it has been to pursue the desire of my heart in ministry to young people these past  10 years at Yates Thagard Baptist Church. I am so thankful for the grace of God to my wife and I as we have seen many young people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and then grow in their faith, and go on to serve the Lord, several in full time service. We are thankful for our church family, the support of parents, and a tremendous group of teen leaders. What a privilege to join hands and hearts together as we challenge and equip young people to be youth for truth in the secular culture in which we live.

Ministry Vision

We have been created by God for His glory ( Is. 43:7) and for His pleasure (Rev. 4:11), and it is my desire that in every aspect of the ministry here the Lord Jesus Christ will be honored and glorified. With this truth as a foundational principle, it is my desire to be used of the Lord to evangelize and disciple people, and in so doing equip them for the work of the ministry. It is my heart to see people fulfilling the purpose of the Lord for their lives in devoted, diligent, dependent Christ centered living.
