Praise for Ministry Opportunity

I truly believe for the past 20 years God has been preparing me for the privilege I have now to serve Him at Yates Thagard Baptist Church as secretary.  Through my years in the field of banking God used that experience to teach me organizational, computer and people skills.  I praise Him that even when I was not aware, He had a greater plan for me.  Since coming to Yates Thagard in March of this year I have been blessed by both the staff and the congregation.  Everyone has made me feel appreciated and loved.  I thank God and Pastor Johnson for entrusting me with this great responsibility and I look forward to serving.

Ministry Vision

Colossians 3:23 & 24 has been my goal in life for sometime and it certainly applies in my position as secretary.  Paul told the church at Colossi - ^"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.  Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord Christ^".   My hope is to assist the Pastors as they seek to follow the Lord’s leading.  I desire to be effective and efficient in my duties as well as encouraging to them and the congregation.
