Praise for Ministry Opportunity

My wife and I are thankful for the opportunity God has given us to serve Him for these 27 plus years.  That is especially true of these past 19 years at Yates Thagard Baptist Church.  The Lord has given us a very loving and faithful Christian family to work with in the church.  We have seen God work in all our lives and take the ministry of the church forward for which we are very grateful. 

Ministry Vision

We look on the horizon of our ministry and we believe God has given our church an open door for His service and a vision of greater things that only He can accomplish in and through us.  Our first mission and desire is to glorify God and to be instrumental in His work of saving and changing lives through Jesus Christ our Lord.   As God allows our ministry to continue to grow and expand, we are committed to helping people know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and to build their lives on the unchanging truth and power of His precious Word.

We would like to invite you to attend our church.  We believe that you will find our people loving, caring, and friendly.  It is our earnest desire and prayer that you will also sense the presence of the Lord when you attend our services. You and your family will be welcomed and we have classes and ministry designed for all ages of children, youth, and adults.  Our visitors are our honored guests, and we are grateful to God for everyone who visits our ministry.
